1.Creep Resistence
Creep resistence increases 300% by adding right amount of iron to avoid loose caused by cold folw or creep,and ensure the property to keep stable under long-term overloading and overheating.
2.Tensile Strength
Allowable resistence to traction forces of common aluminium wire is 40Mpa,and that of alloy is 53Mpa.
3.Bending
Pure aluminium is easy to crack or break after several times of bending,while aluminium alloy will not crack or break after dozens of bending,which can eliminate the security threat of common aluminium wire during installation,and omproving its safety performance.
4.Electrical Performance
Rare earth is added to aluminium alloy conductor,and the electric conductivity of aluminium alloy wire can reach up to 61.5% IACS after annealed,which exceeds 61% IACS of the common aluminium wire ;therefore,it has the electrical performance of more excellent.
5.Flexibility
Bending radius of common aluminium wire is normally 10 to 20 times of the outer diameter,while that of aluminium alloy wire can be 6 times of the outer diameter,which can reduce the layout sapce and cost when installation.

Additional Remarks
1.Fire resistant coating can be added to aluminium alloy wire,and its fire resistant capacity can be proved by burning test .While it is specified in code of building design that copper wire shall be adopted for fire resistant wire ;it does not mean the wire can be used in engineering even though it has passed fire resistant test.
2.Aluminium alloy wire may be used in large scale in buildings due to unique application requirements,and unique technical and economic superiority.But not all wires can be used aluminium alloy wires.
3.When laying aluminium alloy wire.the following measures shall be taken to ensure the security of connection:
1) copper terminal,copper or steel crew shall be tinned to deal with the transition between copper and aluminium;
2) special gasket shall be placed between aluminium wire and copper terminal to avoid electrolytic corrosion;
3) smear antioxidant on connection point when using terminal without tinning to prevent chemical corrosion;
4) special copper-aluminium transition terminal CO/ALR shall be used.
