1,Composition of mineral insulated fire-proof cable structure:
It is composed of copper conductor with high conductivity, inorganic magnesium oxide insulation and seamless copper pipe sheath.
2,The working temperature of mineral insulated fire-proof cables:
The continuous working temperature is 250 C, the melting point of copper can be close to 1083 C in a short time or in an extraordinary period (the melting point of magnesium oxide is 2800 C), and the power supply can last for 3 hours at 950 - 1000 C.
3,Characteristics of Mineral Insulated Fire-proof Cables:
(1) Fire resistance
Copper and magnesium oxide are inorganic materials used in mineral insulated fire-proof cables.The cable will not burn, nor will it support combustion, and can continue to operate near the flame.Copper sheath melts at 1083 ~C, while magnesium oxide insulating material solidifies at 2800 ~C.
(2) High operating temperature
Mineral insulated fire-proof cables can withstand continuous operation temperature up to 250 C.However, in case of emergency, the cable can be operated at a temperature close to the melting point of the copper sheath for a short period of time.
