DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS
Rubber insulated flexible cable with rubber outer sheath, for installation in dry, damp and wet environments, in the open air, in workshops with explosive atmospheres, for connections with moderate mechanical stresses, e.g. industrial or agricultural workshop equipment, large boilers, heaters, portable lamps, electric tools such as drills and disk saws, electric appliances, portable motors and generators on building sites or farms, etc; also for fixed installations along floors or shelving on temporary work sites and in
cabin accommodation; for connecting structural elements in lifting apparatuses , machinery. etc. Suitable for applications up 1000 V if adequately protected in fixed installations {i.e. inside pipes or equipment] as well as for rotor connections to lifting apparatus motors.
The WiND 90 cable has been designed for wind-tower application. The particular conductor construction and the used materials have improved the cable torsion resistance (max 150°/m), the key requirement for drop cables in wind-generators.
This cable can be installed in open air or be buried but with extra mechanical protection (tube, gutter).
