Hongda Wire and Cable offers a wide selection of Automotive Primary Wire. Primary auto wire is designed for many different automotive environments and to endure the harsh conditions of a variety of automotive applications. Allied's automotive wiring ranges from commercial to recreational vehicles.

Our Primary Wire is top of the line and has excellent features. All of Hongda's primary automotive wire1 meets SAE J-1128, Ford and Chrysler specifications. Products in our inventory include, SXL, GXL, TXL, GPT, TWP and HDT. While some primary wire is rated for general use, such as circuit wiring, others are used in more specific scenarios, such as GXL which is mostly used in trucks and trailers. SXL wire is used in applications that have a need for high heat resistance and high temperature performance. It is therefore rated up to 125°C whereas GPT and HDT are rated to only 80°C. We also boast a range of sizes for certain types of automotive primary wire that include 22 AWG to 4/0 AWG.

Automotive Battery Cable

Automotive Battery Cable can be used in a variety of applications and is supplied to a number of industries. Allied offers battery cables SGT and STX/SGX. All auto battery cable options meet SAE J-1127, Ford and Chrysler specifications.  Battery wire also comes in a variety of AWG sizes.

Hongda's battery cable features bare copper conductors and is available in standard battery circuit black and red.

SGT cable can be used in starter or battery ground circuits. It comes with Polyvinylchloride (PVC) insulation and can withstand temperatures up to 105ºC. Flex SGT wire is available with higher stranding.

STX wire or SGX wire can be used for automotive starters or battery grounds where resistance to abrasion, heat and aging is needed. It has Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and can withstand temperatures up to 125ºC. Contact your salesperson for any additional questions on all types of automotive battery cable.
