Its suitability for use in drinking water and meets the KTW recommendations (polymer drinking water recommendation of the polymer materials commisson of the German Federal Health Office). The cable is also suitable for outdoor use as well as in dry, damp or wet rooms. The cable may not however be used in explosive endangered areas. It is also used as a connection cable for rotary motors up to 1000 V for protected and fixed installations.
